Surveilled and Sold: Privacy and Sanctuary in Portland
How effective are Portland’s sanctuary city policies when ICE can access surveillance data to track immigrant communities? What can the city do to protect the privacy of its residents?
What We Do
We are a news outlet and journalism training organization for immigrant voices. We produce podcasts and digital news stories and offer fellowships and workshops to help immigrant journalists reach new audiences, improve their skills, and advance their careers.
Our work brings positive and meaningful change to America’s newsrooms and has a broader impact on how immigration is reported, how journalism is taught at colleges and universities, and the ethnic and racial composition of news organizations.
The Feet in 2 Worlds network includes hundreds of journalists across the U.S. and around the world who have participated in our programs. Collectively, these journalists reach millions of readers and listeners with stories from immigrant communities.
